Susan Kufdakis

Candidate for Florida State House: District 86

Working for ONE and Working for ALL

Meet Susan
Susan is here to work for her community and state!

Susan lives in Wellington, and practices immigration law in West Palm Beach. Her life's mission is to advocate for her community. A longtime member of the Junior League, she enjoys volunteering for her community in her free time. She is proud to call Florida her home. She has lived in Florida since 2015.

She was raised in a multicultural (Greek and Puerto Rican) family with traditional values, while at the same time, she was raised embracing culture and diversity.

Her culturally diverse upbringing motivates her passion towards helping those around her to live the American Dream: prosperity through hard work and the opportunity for one's children to grow up in a world of quality education, safety; opportunity without artificial barriers such as social and economic divisions. However, a large part of obtaining the American Dream requires giving special attention to community and state.

For many years, Susan has advocated for reforming education, reforming the criminal justice system, reforming environmental policy, promoting community safety, and supporting the local economy.

She was most motivated to run for Florida State House, because she is tired of divisions impeding the progress of our state, especially in areas of education, criminal justice reform, the environment, and the local economy.

She feels that the ideal local legislator should be a voice for the community and should also make every effort to work past any divide to deliver results to community and state.

As State Representative of District 86, Susan will get to WORK, to take care of all those issues that affect community and state day-by-day. Susan understands all sides of the issues she addresses, and she can find simple solutions that transcend politics.

Florida State House District 86 (Wellington, Greenacres, Haverhill, Loxahatchee Groves, Royal Palm Beach, and parts of Unincorporated Palm Beach County), and the State of Florida need driven representation bringing positive results! It is time to get to WORK!

Susan, focused on bringing strength and unity to community and state, realizes the importance of quality representation for all!

Susan will work with you, and represent all of you, her community, in Tallahassee.

  • Meet Susan Kufdakis Rivera, a Republican running for House District 86

Nearly 250 candidates are vying for state House and state Senate seats in 2020. Try as we will, Florida Politics can’t interview all of them.

Just like in 2016 and 2018, we’re again asking every candidate to complete a questionnaire we believe offers an interesting, albeit, thumbnail sketch of who they are and why they are running. If you are a candidate and would like to complete the questionnaire, email

  • Wellington Attorney Challenging Willhite For District 86 Seat

Wellington resident and attorney Susan Kufdakis Rivera is running as a Republican for state representative in District 86, challenging two-term Democratic incumbent Matt Willhite in November’s general election.
